Lennard Ag was established by Wayne J. Lennard in 1947, on five acres of land in southern Michigan. Over the years, the company grew exponentially, spreading across thousands of acres—growth driven in large part by innovation. In 1969, Lennard & Sons built the first refrigerated potato storage facility in the state. More recently, we developed a system of tracking devices to improve our logistics and customer experience.
Back in 1947, Wayne had a vision: to grow and distribute the highest-quality potatoes using cutting-edge farm technology. More than 70 years and two generations later, we’re still committed to that mission.
