Hanson Potato Farm was founded in 1926 in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula then re-branded as Hanson Seed Farm in 2008. The farm consists of Diane, Dennis, Scott and Ted Hanson. Diane and Dennis are semi-retired with Scott and Ted taking over operations in 2010. During the summer, harvest, and during shipping times the farm is busy with welcome help from the next generation of Hanson's who are always willing to lend a hand. The farm currently grows 9 varieties and prides themselves on great customer service and complete satisfaction.
"We were born into potato farming, it’s in our blood! You live and breathe farming to be successful. The fact that our family began this lifestyle so many years ago and has continued it is our legacy. We are proud to put a safe, affordable, healthy product on your dinner table." – Diane Hanson
